Marion's Chit Chats about Art and Life.

Today I finally started creating a website for my art work. I still have to add more photos of my paintings, and more touches to the website. But it is a start. Thank you to my friend and co-worker, Patricia K, for suggesting Weebly.com to me as a place to make a website. I ended up paying money though, even though you can make free websites at weebly. I wanted to have a dotcom website.without weebly in there - sounds more professional I think :) I hope this website will help me to share my art so that it reaches a wider audience.

January 2nd 2015 
I almost wrote 2014 as I typed the date :) A New Year, new beginnings. I am excited about my adventures in art that lie ahead. I joined the North Shore Artists' Guild in Nov 2014. Planning to attend my first meeting this month, and then when I have attended 3 meetings I will be eligible to enter art shows. I look forward to exhibiting work with fellow artists from the guild, and especially look forward to the prospect of showing at the West Vancouver Yacht Club.
           I have 4 1/2 yrs left till I retire from my full time job. It will be great to have more time to pursue art and to spend more time with family and friends.
           Life seems to have rushed along so quickly and I wonder where the time went. When I was younger I wished time would go faster but now i so wish it would slow down. I have not sung karaoke in a long time and enjoyed it immensely (must get back to it). At karaoke I sometimes sang the song called Like a Rock by Bob Seger. There are a few lines in that song that I especially relate to ....
